Glenisla is one of the beautiful Angus glens. It rises slowly from farmland in the south to the majestic peak of Glas Maol (1068m,3,504ft) in the north, the highest peak in Angus within the Cairngorms National Park.

Isla View is located just outside Kirkton of Glenisla and is only half a mile from the Glenisla Hotel, which has a cosy pub with roaring log fire and a good reputation for its food.

This area of Perthshire is right at the very centre of Scotland being about an hour and a half’s drive from Edinburgh and two hours from Glasgow. East Perthshire offers a great variety of landscapes from rolling fields of fruit and quiet glens to the dramatic mountains of Glenshee and the top of Glenisla in the Cairngorms National Park.

Yet within an hours drive of Isla View are Balmoral, Pitlochry and St Andrews.
